In Skates Trouble by Kate Meader

I am not a sports person. I watched college football because I went to a football school and am extremely susceptible to peer pressure. I go to baseball games because I played tee ball as a kid and can somewhat understand how the game works. I watch hockey because my husband bought me a jersey and it’s cute and I like to wear it. So, sports romances aren’t really my thing, but there’s something about a good hockey romance that sparks that fire in me.

Blurb: Addison Williams isn't looking for romance, but when she encounters an eavesdropping stranger on an adjoining hotel balcony, she figures she's due a little fun. She just hadn't reckoned on the "fun" escalating so quickly to "out of control." One minute she's flirting with a whiskey-graveled voice in the dark, the next that same voice is telling her to do things. Hot, wicked things.

Cup-winning hockey player Ford "Killer" Callaghan can't believe he let the anonymous woman who blew his mind slip away into the night. He'll track her down because once could never be enough—even if discovering her identity places her strictly out of bounds.

Stolen kisses. Secret hook-ups. Deliciously forbidden in every way. Can a passion that started in the dark find a lifetime of love in the light?

Review: In Skates Trouble is the perfect book to introduce you to the wonderful sexiness that Kate Meader’s hockey romance series. It’s #0.5 (so it’s on the shorter side and gets right to the sexy) and it’s free. So, go one-click that shit right now. Do you even need to read a review?

Yes? Okay, fine.

If you’re into full-figured heroines and some cougar situations (barely) then you’re going to extra love In Skates Trouble. Our heroine Addison is a full-figured Victoria’s Secret model (don’t you dare say plus-size in her presence) turned business woman who is sick of being some guy’s trophy. Her motivation and drive are totally inspiring and her attitude is exactly what you want from your heroines.

Ford is adorable and cute and possessive as fuck. Loved it. Loved him. Everything about him screamed alpha male without being annoyingly so. He’s a total giver (wink wink) and hot as sin. Together he and Addison are complicated and explosive, my two favorite things for a couple to be.

Get over to Amazon and scoop up your kindle copy now. You will not regret it and it’ll lead you down a line of sports romance, each one better than the next.
