Emojis are an every day part of my life. I like finding the perfect emoji to describe how I'm feeling so I don't have to think of the words with my tired nanny brain. Over the holidays I started wondering, "What if I had to describe my favorite romance novels using only emojis?" It sounded hard. So, instead of doing it myself, I asked the authors to do it.
Below you'll find the seven romance authors to whom I issued the challenge: Describe one of your novels using only emojis (and the occasional symbol).
I encourage you to scroll through and check out the different combinations of emojis and see if any of them spark an interest that has you wanting to learn more about the book. I've left off the names of the books the authors have chosen so that, if you're familiar with the author, you still have the chance to guess which novel they're talking about. But, don't worry, I've included the titles and links to purchase at the bottom.
A special thanks to all the authors who participated in this challenging assignment!

Adore Ian
Adore Ian grew up in a mixed race family in Hawaii and has loved steamy romance novels ever since finding a Harper paperback discarded on the sidewalk when she was a kid. She’s a proud dyslexic, a loud intersectional feminist, and a lover of standard poodles. She lives with her man-friend on the east coast where she spends too much time bunny watching and not enough time writing. She believes the ingredients to good romance are too much smut, quality fluff and angst, and a dash of guerrilla sex ed. Her novels are best enjoyed with a slice of pizza and an ice cold beer.
